    30 May 2019
On Wednesday 5 June, IMPACT Connected Car will be hosting the session “How the EU is Supporting Innovative Start-Ups” at the 13th European ITS Congress. FIA Region I will moderate the session, which will showcase how IMPACT is helping European start-ups realise and mature their ideas for innovative mobility services as well as sustain their growth. Participants will hear the experience of two IMPACT selected start-ups, Discoperi and xMotion. Discoperi is an automotive start-up that develops blockchain-based analysis tools for accident prevention, drivers’ safety and automotive data monetisation. xMotion focuses on the reduction of transportation costs and the elimination of vehicle breakdown through technology that can predict the remaining useful life (RUL). The session will be a good occasion to present the audience FIA Region I support for innovation and start-ups, through its involvement in the EU funded project IMPACT Connected Car and also with its Start-Up Challenge.
