The FIA Region I 2021 road safety campaign is dedicated to personal mobility devices (PMDs) or personal light electric vehicles (PLEVs).

These mobility devices are gaining in popularity, and users are not always aware of the risks and manners to using them in a safe way. The interplay between road users can lead to risky situations, and therefore this campaign aims at raising awareness of the increased diversity of vehicles now found in urban traffic and the importance of “sharing the road” and caring for each other in traffic.
