    Location: Brussels with flexible remote work options (up to 8 days/month, including from other European locations)

    Job duration: open-ended, full-time

    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    Are you a young professional eager to contribute to impactful advocacy efforts? The FIA Region I is looking for its next team member. As a Junior Policy Officer, you will support policy research, monitor EU policy developments, and create policy materials. You will coordinate with Members, provide administrative support for meetings, and assist with newsletters and online platforms. Additionally, you will help organize events, ensuring their smooth execution. Join us in a dynamic environment where your work directly influences our advocacy initiatives.

     

    Key responsibilities

    • Assist in policy research, analysis, and coordination to contribute to advocacy efforts.
    • Monitor EU policy developments and craft policy materials.
    • Maintain internal coordination with Members.
    • Provide administrative support, including organizing meetings and preparing relevant materials.
    • Contribute to communication efforts, including newsletters and internal/external platforms.
    • Assist in the organization of events.

     

    Who are we looking for?

    • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., European public policy, political sciences, international relations, etc.).
    • Demonstrated interest in EU policy, with previous internships or work experience in related fields.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong coordination skills and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
    • Ability to analyze, write, and synthesize policy and advocacy documents concisely.
    • Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
