The Club Correspondent and Communications Group meeting was held in Helsinki from 14 to 15 June, kindly hosted by Autoliitto (Finland). The annual meeting brought together 28 delegates from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

FIA Region I activities were presented and discussed with Member Clubs, including annual events such as the International Best Young Driver, the European Traffic Education Contest, the Road Safety Campaign and more. The FIA also presented their global initiatives at the meeting such as the One Road Programme, the Environment Accreditation Programme, and the FIA University Executive Programme among others.

Several Member Clubs were invited to share their activities too. Autolittto (Finland) and FDM (Denmark) shared new projects on supporting infrastructure development for electric vehicles. AMZS (Slovenia) presented the Bicycles for Everyone project, which gathers donated bicycles for families in need. ÖAMTC presented Motion, a media and communications initiative to further strengthen ÖAMTC as a key voice in all things related to mobility in Austria. The AA South Africa presented their latest media and broadcast strategy that provides solutions globally and that could also assist sister Clubs across the world.

The Club Correspondent and Communications Group is an opportunity for Member Clubs to gather, exchange and learn best practices from each other. It also serves as an opportunity to discuss the annual activities organized by the FIA Region I with the support of Member Clubs.
